Description
This contract action was competed; however, only one responsible source submitted a proposal. The requirement was solicited under FAR Part 12 procedures in accordance with FAR 12.201‑1 (DFARS CD 2026-O0028), which permits award when only one source can meet the agency’s needs. Market research and a posted Sources Sought identified only Radiometrics Corporation as possessing the OEM authorization, proprietary technical data, and specialized expertise required to maintain and repair the existing MP‑3000A Microwave Radiometers and Radar Wind Profiler systems. As documented in the justification, Radiometrics retains exclusive ownership of the source code, internal architecture, and proprietary software necessary to perform updates, diagnostics, and cybersecurity compliance actions, and no other vendor can legally or technically support these systems. This award is a hybrid contract consisting of firm‑fixed‑price and time‑and‑materials CLINs.

Amendment 01 - This effort is extended until 10 April 2026 due by 11 am MDT, all other information remains the same. This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY to obtain information for the LINK 22 radio, timing source, and transit case as described in the attachment. The scope is as follows: Per the DoD Joint Tactical Data Link Migration Plan, the legacy Link-11 tactical data link is being sunset, creating critical capabilities gap for the CRC. The CRC relies heavily on Beyond-Line-of-Sight (BLOS) data exchange, and this project will integrate a new Link-22 capability to enhance operational effectiveness and support Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) objectives for both contingency and homeland defense missions. To mitigate this gap, this project will integrate the Link-22 tactical data link into the CRC weapon system. The Government will furnish some core Link-22 components, including the System Network Controller (SNC), Signal Processing Controller (SPC), and COMSEC device in a separate transit case. This RFI is focused on gaining information for a needed solution of a Link-22 capable radio, ancillary equipment, timing source, and the design and fabrication of an adaptable transit case solution that houses the radio system and its supporting peripherals and interfaces with the core Link-22 case that contains the SNC, SPC, and COMSEC device. Responses per direction in the RFI attachment. Due date is 18 Mar 2026 by 11 am MDT. | Special Notice | 541990 | No Set-Aside | 03/12/2026 | 04/10/2026 | Hill Air Force Base, UT
Amendment 02: RFI Post Questions and Answers Part 2 25 Feb 2026 Amendment 01: RFI CRC RRSVS TCRR Program - Post Questions and Answers 24 Feb 2026 REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY - For the CRC RRSVS TCRR program See ATTACHMENT for REQUIREMENT Due 2 March 2026 The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Portfolio Acquisition Executive Command, Control, Communications and Battle Management Program Office (AFLCMC/PAE C3BM) is conducting this Request for Information (RFI) to solicit information about current or future voice/data communications suite within Tactical C2. The Government seeks to develop a TCRR system that has all the capabilities of the radio subsystems of TOC-L MR2. The TCRR is expected to provide the TOC-L hardware and integration to the Remote Radio interface. When completed TCRR should provide a remote suite of TOC mission-capable radios to be used via a remote interface with TOC-L MR 2. The TCRR should support mobilizing its equipment to forward battle management areas to support secure voice and data communications during battle management activities when connected to a TOC-L Enabled CRC. The CRC concept of the future involves multiple systems working together to provide battle managers with local and remote Line-of-Sight (LOS) radio secure voice and data capabilities. TOC-L and TCRR are both described in this RFI as the TOC-L interfaces will be used to remotely control the TCRR and both systems are expected to use the same radios, control and switching equipment and communications interfaces. PLEASE PROVIDE A SIGNED DD 2345 TO ACCESS THE ATTACHMENTS. SEND TO THE POC. THE SRD IS AVAILABLE AS A CONTROLLED ATTACHMENT. | Special Notice | 541990 | No Set-Aside | 02/25/2026 | 03/02/2026 | Hill Air Force Base, UT
