V--Packaging and Crating Services, Fort Campbell, KY

Description: The Government has a requirement to provide services for packing, crating and containerization of household goods for inbound, outbound and intra-area moves in the Fort Campbell area which includes counties in Kentucky and Tennessee. These services include pre-move surveys, servicing of appliances, disassembly of furniture (if required), packaging, inventorying, tagging, wrapping, padding, packing, and bracing of household goods in Government owned and furnished shipping containers at the owner's residence, or at the Contractor's facility, properly securing and sealing for shipment, weighing, obliterating old markings, strapping, and drayage of the container within an area of performance. Services shall also include loading of shipments on line-haul carrier's equipment at the contractor's facility, and providing temporary storage. A firm fixed price requirements (IDIQ) contract for base and two years is contemplated with the basic contract period of 1 May 11 - 30 April 12. Estimated quantities will be specified in the solicitation. The cost range of the base plus 2 option periods is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
