Description: The Government has a requirement to provide services for packing, crating, and containerization of household goods for inbound and outbound moves in Fort Campbell area which includes counties in Kentucky and Tennessee. These services include pre-move surveys, servicing of appliances, disassembly of furniture (if required), packaging, inventorying, tagging, wrapping, padding, packing, and bracing of household goods in Government owned and furnished shipping containers at the owner's residence, or at the Contractor's facility, properly securing and sealing for shipment, weighing, obliterating old markings, strapping, and drayage of the container within an area of performance. Services shall also include loading of shipments on line- haul carrier's equipment at the contractor's facility, and providing temporary storage. The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified as government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense (DOD) personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the DPM. Work to be performed will be those services in the Schedules awarded to the contractor as outlined in individual Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) items. A Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) requirements ID/IQ contract for base and two (2) Option Years is contemplated with the basic contract period of 23 Mar 2015 to 31 December 2015.
