USATC ICE FREEZER MAINTENACE

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Jackson has a requirement to procure support services to provide both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on storage freezers on Fort Jackson. Fort Jackson maintains 14 walk-in freezer boxes for the storage of ice throughout the training area. These ice storage units hold the ice used by training units in Basic Combat Training when the temperature exceeds 70 degrees Fahrenheit. These are critical to the mission and safety of Soldiers in training. Solicitation W9124C-19-R-0017 will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) using the procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. It is anticipated that this requirement will be awarded as a fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The anticipated period of performance will be 5 Aug 2019 to 4 Aug 2024, resulting in a five year ordering period. The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 811310, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors with a size standard of $7.5M. This procurement will be competitively procured as a total small business set-aside. The RFP will be available electronically at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 25 April 2019.
