The Mission & Installation Contracting Command, (MICC) at Fort Polk, Louisiana will issue a Invitation For Bid(s) (IFB) with intent to award a firm-fixed price 100% Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside, contract for Washers and Dryers. The Contractor shall provide commercially available washers and dryers for use by military personnel at Fort Polk, LA to meet the government requirements as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12. This requirement includes rental, installation, maintenance, repair of contractor owned washers and dryers and maintenance, repair and possible replacement of Government owned washers and dryers. Services will be at various locations on North and South Fort Polk, Peason Ridge Training Area, and Toledo Bend (Lake) Recreation Site (TBRS). The resulting contract will be for a 1 year base period of 1 September 2012 through 30 August 2013 and 2 one-year option periods if exercised. The applicable NAICS code is 532210. Solicitation will be issued on or about 19 June 2012 with offer due date on or about 19 July 2012.
