Pre-solicitation Notice W9127S-08-T-0051: This solicitation will be a replacement solicitation for W9127S-08-T-0028 that was cancelled. Solicitation will be advertised as Unrestricted under the Small Business Competiveness Demonstration Program. T he North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561730 (Landscaping Services). The small business size standard is $6.5 million. The solicitation is for a firm fixed priced commercial performance based service contract to provide routi ne and emergency tree removal services for areas covered by the Greers Ferry Project Office. The proposed contract will be issued as an Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ). Orders for contracted services will be issued when services are requir ed and funded at the contract unit rates. The proposed contract will be issued for a base period of 1 March 2008 or date of award, whichever is later through February 28, 2009 and four annual option periods. Solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR 13.5. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only at the Armys Single Face to Industry Website (ASFI) on or about February 10, 2008. It is each offerors responsibility to dow nload the solicitation from the internet website. No paper copies will be provided. Notification of amendments shall be made via the Internet as well. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the ASFI website daily for any posted cha nges to this solicitation.
