The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Seattle District anticipates solicitation and award of a Firm Fixed-Price contract resulting from Request for Proposal (RFP) W912DW27RA017. This JBLM MDTF BLDGs 3221-3222 acquisition will utilize a design that will convert facilities, in the 3200 block of Lewis Main, for the purposes of supporting operational space for the MDTF.
Construction services will support the renovation and conversion of two separate and existing 1950’s era Barracks Facilities comprising approximately 63,400 SF of combined renovation work. The two facilities are approximately the same size. Building 3221 is a former 165-personnel “hammerhead” barracks facility which is to be converted to indirect fire protection capability (IFPC) with a combined COF/Battalion HQ consisting of a first-floor Battalion HQ with company operations space on the second and third floors. Building 3222 is a former 165-personnel “hammerhead” barracks facility which is to be converted into a combined administration, readiness, and troop aid facility.
