MULTIPLE AWARD TASK ORDER CONTRACT (MATOC) FOR DESIGN-BUILD (DB) AND DESIGN-BID-BUILD (DBB) CONSTRUCTION

1. PURPOSE: The 414th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB), RCO Livorno Sub-Office, plans to solicit offers for Multiple Award Task order Contract (MATOC) for Design-Build (DB) and Design-Bid-Build (DBB) Construction Services in support of the Darby Military Community, Tirrenia (Pisa), Italy. 2. SCOPE: This solicitation will utilize competitive procedures to award up to three (3) MATOC. The MATOCs will be awarded to the three low offerors who have submitted the lowest price technically acceptable for the Seed Project which will be for the "Repair Building 5092 and convert to Dressing/Shower Facility Supply and Maintenance Area". The Scope of Work of this project consists in the partial demolition of an existing storage building to reconstruct it and convert to toilets/shower/break room. The project will be issued to the lowest offeror as the first task order. 3. MAGNITUDE OF THE SEED PROJECT: The magnitude of the seed project is between $500,000 (Euro 466,450.00) and $ 1,000,000 (Euro 932,900.00) Rate used: 1S=Euro 0.9329 4. METODHO OF CONTRACTING: This will be a Request for Proposal resulting in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. 5. PERFORMANCE PERIOD OF THE SEED PROJECT: 300 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed 6. SOA: Contractor is required to be SOA OG1 classification IV qualified 7. SITE VISIT: The site visit will be held on June 07, 2018 at 13:30 hrs. at gate no. 27 Depot Area, Tombolo (Pisa), Italy 8. MISCELLANEOUS: The solicitation package, including the technical specification, description of the work and additional information will be posted within few weeks on Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov). To be awarded a government contract you MUST have DUNS (Dun& Bradstreet http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform) and NCAGE (www.dlis.dla.mil/Forms/Form_AC135.asp) numbers and be registered in SAM (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM). 9.
