Notice Type: Pre-solicitation Notice FSC: J099 NAICS: 811118 Description of the service: This is a service to perform inspections, load testing, maintenance, evaluation and certification for mobile cranes and non-mobile cranes / hoists, bridges and monorails for Army Field Support Battalion Africa (AFSBn-Africa). Location of the work: The service shall be performed at Darby Military Community (DMC), US Army Garrison (USAG) Italy, Livorno Army Depot, AFSBn-Africa Area of Operation. Performance Period: The performance period will be one base year plus two option years. Method of Contracting: This will be a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Hybrid Firm Fixed Price and Time and Materials type contract. Issuance of solicitation: The solicitation package together with the description of the service and additional information will be posted around the middle of January 2019. Response date: The due-in date for the submittal of quotation will be indicated in the solicitation. Site visit: A site visit will be held on 05 February 2018, 09:30 hrs. The meeting point will be at Gate #27 (Depot Gate), Via Aurelia, Tombolo (Pisa).
