Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Modeling & Simulation Support

This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued by the Department of the Army, on behalf of Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires. PAE Fires is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified, experienced, and interested sources capable of providing specialized engineering, modeling, simulation, and software support for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Project Office in support of the AN/TPY-2 Terminal Mode.

The contractor shall provide AN/TPY-2 Terminal Mode support for delivery of AN/TPY-2 source code, development, documentation (including appropriate, red-lined documents), integration, and support of the THAAD Modeling and Simulation (M&S) products. The contractor shall deliver tactical CX Terminal Mode (TM) software products (tactical source code and tactical executables), including incremental development releases, Engineering Releases and Final Releases. The contractor shall support integration of CX TM software into the THAAD M&S products, to include on-site support as needed. The contractor shall support the resolution of CX TM-related observations made by the THAAD M&S products during all phases of development and integration, as well as on-going system testing

Note that this is not a request for quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This RFI seeks industry comments to assist the Government in locating potential sources with the ability to satisfy its requirement.
