The requirement will be awarded in accordance with Two-Step Sealed Bidding procedures (FAR 52.214-25) which calls for the initial submission of technical-only proposals before submission of price bids. As such, please plan on coordinating all necessary personnel and/or subcontractors whose assessment of the requirement will have an impact on the technical proposal and subsequent priced proposal. An additional site visit will not occur between receipt of the technical proposals and submission of price bids. The site visit is scheduled for April 10th, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. Please see the attachments for the RFI responses and their associated documents. Utilize these in continuing to formulate your Step One Technical Proposals. This notice signifies the release of the formal RFP for Project No. WWYK200131 - Repair Chilled Water System, Bldg. 2280. The due date for Step One Techincal Proposals has been extended to June 15th, 2026 at 5:00 PM CST. Please see the attachments for the formal RFP as well as the attachments referenced in the body of the formal RFP. Responses to previously received RFIs may warrant revisions to associated RFP documents so be sure to monitor this SAM posting for updates. The revised RFI responses are now attached. The responses provide additional clarification on some replies for utilization by offerors in formulating their Step One Technical Proposals. The revised responses are highlighted. Please reach out to the primary or secondary point of contact should you have more questions regarding the responses. An amendment to the formal RFP and a revision to Section L - Instructions to Bidders has been issued to update the amount of the bid guarantee to encourage offeror participation to the maximum extent possible. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation and associated documents remain unchanged and in full force and effect. Please refer to the amended RFP and the revised specifications in the attachments section of this notice for more information. Point of clarification: The bid guarantee isn't required until Step Two Priced Bids are due. Offerors may acquire a bonding letter from their surety as an assurance, but it is not mandatory. The response to the RFI is in an effort to prevent uneven pricing among bidders. Please note, waiving the alkali testing does not alleviate any warranty work associated with the quality of concrete product or installation. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation and associated documents remain unchanged and in full force and effect. Please refer to the amended RFP and the RFI response in the attachments section of this notice for more information.
